Tuesdays 12 Sessions Starting September14th
Grades 7-12: 3:30 to 4:45 Grades K-3: 4:45-5:30 Grades 4-6: 5:30-6:30
Jazz class will focus on dance fundamentals of body alignment, balance and coordination of mind, body and breath. After warm up and stretching, students explore dynamics and characterization in jazz performance. Musicality, individuality and an appreciation of modern jazz, funk, and classical musical theater jazz are developed in an energetic and structured atmosphere.
Tap sessions will focus on the fundamentals of classical tap as a foundation for studying rhythm, body percussion, and a variety of tap forms. From musical theater, to new age rhythm, students will learn to appreciate the roots of Tap while finding their own style and expression.

Modern Dance

Thursdays 12 sessions starting September 16th
Grades 7-12: 3:30 to 4:45 Grades K-3: 4:45-5:30 Grades 4-6: 5:30-6:30
Learn modern dance technique using classical ballet fundamentals. You will learn how to move from the center of your body finding a natural flow of rhythm, stressing fluidity and control. This expressive, full and energetic movement has its roots in the dance of Doris Humphrey and Jose Limon.

Ballet

Wednesdays 12 sessions starting September 15th
Grades 7-12: 3:30 to 4:45 Grades K-3: 4:45-5:30 Grades 4-6: 5:30-6:30
This course will introduce students to both the technique and artistry of classical ballet. Class will begin with a warmup at the barre, and progress to center combinations including adagio, turns and allegros. Students will improve strength, balance, posture, and agility through this demanding yet fun art form. Students will also be introduced to dance history and current events in the ballet world.
Fee: $175

Daily Fitness:
$12 each class or purchase a 6-class card for $60 and save $12! This fitness card is good for 3 months on any day for any Morning Fitness class. Classes are Ongoing, join anytime.

Dance

Tired of the Aerobics grind? Keep fit artistically. This weekly fitness class for adults will help tone your muscles using basic exercises from the dancer’s workout. No dance experience required as Ms. Wolf takes you from simple barre and floor exercises, to an end-of-class combination. Find your center with stretching and breath control. Drop-ins welcome!

Tai Chi

Friday Mornings 8:30-9:30
An ongoing course of instruction in the Wuji Jing Gong system of tai chi, which has been shown to provide many benefits for the body, mind and spirit. We can improve our health, increase inner calm, improve balance, posture and much more. Drop-ins welcome!
