Acting for Teens

Thursdays 3:00-4:30pm 6 Sessions Starting September 11th & October 30th
Through participation and observation, students will lean basic acting technique. They will create character by script analysis, sense memory and theater games. We may work on Shakespeare scenes if the students so choose, bringing the characters to life using acting exercises, and stories from the students’ own lives.
Fee: $90

Youth Acting
Instructor: Constance Fowlkes
Thursdays 4:30-5:45pm 6 sessions starting September 11th & October 30th
We will work on improvisation and developing the students’ own scripts, using acting exercises and games to learn how to “keep the scene going.” The students may also play with Shakespeare scenes, if as a class, they decide to do so.

Performance & Presentation Workshop
Instructor: Constance Fowlkes
Saturday October 18th, & Nov.ember 8th 12-4pm
This course is designed for adults interested in polishing their presentation skills. We will work on voice production, stage presence and composition. Prepared speeches and monologues are welcomed but not required.
Fee: $100
